Apply to Become a Habitat Homeowner
APPLICATION PERIOD CLOSED

How our selection process works
The Committee reviews all completed applications and then the Homeowner Selection Committee:
  1. Requests more information if it is needed
  2. Reviews the tax return for the previous year and other material provided by the applicant to verify information on the application.
  3. Conducts a home visit at family's current residence.
  4. Makes a recommendation to the Board of Directors.
What we build
Central Vermont Habitat for Humanity builds safe, decent, and perpetually affordable housing for homeowners who are in need of better housing. Depending on the particular building site and homeowner applicant needs in Vermont, we build energy efficient single unit homes or duplex designed for privacy with separate entrances, driveways, and yards.
