How to Register on VolunteerUp for the Central Vermont Habitat for Humanity, Greensboro Initiative
Step 1: Visit Our Volunteer Page
Step 2: Create a Volunteer Profile
Step 3: Log In
Step 4: View the Volunteer Calendar Grid
Step 5: Sign Up for a Volunteer Shift
Step 6: Look for a Confirmation Email
You’ll receive an email confirming your volunteer day with details about what to bring, where to go, and who to contact.
Step 1: Visit Our Volunteer Page
Step 2: Create a Volunteer Profile
- Click “New Volunteer Registration”
- Create a username and password
- Fill out the form with your name, contact info, and emergency contact
- The Groups/Team and Skills sections are optional and do not need to be completed.
- Fields with an asterisk * must all be completed.
- Click “Register” at the bottom of the page
Step 3: Log In
- Return to the Log In page
- Enter your username and password
- Click “Login”
Step 4: View the Volunteer Calendar Grid
- Once logged in, click on “Volunteer Opportunities Calendar”
- You’ll see a list of days with available shifts for different build sites and events.
- The Greensboro Bend site is listed on the column farthest to the right.
- When work days are scheduled, they will be listed there.
Step 5: Sign Up for a Volunteer Shift
- Click on the day you’re interested in
- Review the scheduled work, shift time, and task details
- Click “Sign Up” to confirm your spot
