How to Register on VolunteerUp for the Central Vermont Habitat for Humanity, Greensboro Initiative

​Step 1: Visit Our Volunteer Page 
  • Go to https://volunteerup.com/Login.asp?w=i&o=272 

Step 2: Create a Volunteer Profile
  • Click “New Volunteer Registration”
  • Create a username and password 
  • Fill out the form with your name, contact info, and emergency contact
    • The Groups/Team and Skills sections are optional and do not need to be  completed.
    • Fields with an asterisk * must all be completed. 
  • Click “Register” at the bottom of the page 

Step 3: Log In 
  • Return to the Log In page 
  • Enter your username and password 
  • Click “Login” 

Step 4: View the Volunteer Calendar Grid 
  • Once logged in, click on “Volunteer Opportunities Calendar” 
  • You’ll see a list of days with available shifts for different build sites and events.
    • The Greensboro Bend site is listed on the column farthest to the right.
    • When work days are scheduled, they will be listed there. 

Step 5: Sign Up for a Volunteer Shift 
  • Click on the day you’re interested in 
  • Review the scheduled work, shift time, and task details 
  • Click “Sign Up” to confirm your spot 

Step 6: Look for a Confirmation Email 
You’ll receive an email confirming your volunteer day with details about what to bring, where to  go, and who to contact.
