What's New September 2017

Dear Central Vermont Community,

As we turn the corner into Autumn, Central Vermont Habitat for Humanity has some community events to share with you!

Starting this late September, we will be partnering with Vermont Center for Independent Living to build a ramp for an eligible family in Cabot. We are in need of volunteers for this building project starting Wednesday September 27th.  Please go the link here to sign up!

We will be holding our 1st annual Craft and Vendor Fair on Saturday October 21st at the Bethany Church in Montpelier. We are calling out to all Crafters and Vendors to join this event!  Applications are accepted on a first come, first served basis… application is attached. Please share this with any crafter or vendor you know and please visit the fair on Oct. 21st!! Also, a local Tupperware consultant is hosting a party for CVHFH where 40% of proceeds go to CVHFH! Please shop to support us!

CVHFH is also starting the process of a new build starting Spring 2018 in Randolph! We are in need of a few more members for the Homeowner Selection Committee. Meetings will be held in Randolph in the early evenings. Other volunteer opportunities relating to this build include Building Planning Meetings this fall and winter and Volunteer Supervisor Positions starting this spring. Please contact me for more information about these ways to be involved in the Randolph build!

Looking forward to a great autumn with the Central Vermont community!

Sincerely,

Debbie Goodwin, Executive Director
