Central Vermont Habitat for Humanity

Central Vermont Habitat for Humanity, LLC is an affordable housing non-profit. We build and rehabilitate housing and offer affordable, zero or low interest, mortgages for income sensitive Vermonters. We also complete critical home repairs for income qualifying homeowners. We are located in our Vermont State's Capital, Montpelier, VT and serve towns in Washington and Orange Counties. A local Greensboro collaboration also works in the towns of Craftsbury, Glover, Greensboro, and Hardwick in Orleans County.

Central Vermont Habitat for Humanity operates Central Vermont's only ReStore, near the Mad River Valley, in Waterbury, VT. ReStores accept and sell new and gently used donations such furniture, home accessories, building materials and appliances to the public at a fraction of the retail price, while diverting reusable household items and building materials from area landfills. Sales of donated items help Habitat for Humanity build, rehabilitate and repair safe and affordable homes in Central Vermont — a good deal for you, your community and the environment.

Central Vermont Habitat for Humanity, powered by local volunteers, brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope. We build strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter. Your support helps to build affordable housing and increases economic stability through mortgaged homeownership.
